August 2011 Visit to Baltimore

The last week of August I flew to Baltimore; Paul, Clare and Aubrie met me there so that we could spend a long weekend with family.  Most important was the opportunity for Aubrie to meet her great grandmother, Sylvia Cordish, who is 92 years old.  We also spent time with other family, including Sue and Alan and Teddy (Michael was traveling in Indonesia). Crab pick up- we ordered 3 1/2 dozen - YUM!

Gettin' ready for the traditional Maryland Crab Feast- crabs, corn on the cob, sliced tomatoes, zucinni and the required utensils to get all that food down the hatch!

oh yeah! steamed crabs with Old Bay spices!  we all ALL 3 1/2 dozen!

Aubrie can't have crabs, so she's eating Sohpie, her non toxic toy.

I met Aubrie when she was about 2 weeks old.  I remember thinking as I held her how small and delicate she was- she couldn't hold her neck up - and all she did was eat/nurse and sleep, and poop/pee.  Clare's mother was there for the first 6 months to help out... thank goodness since I don't change diapers!
